Alumni Winter Retreat
Hosts: Tony Corbel
December 6-8, 2019
***Registration Opening Soon***
If you have attended any Corbell or GreatPhotography workshop in the past, you are invited to join us for our annual Alumni Winter Retreat. We will be gathering at the Inn on the river on the banks of the Paluxy River in Glen Rose, Texas on December 6th - 8th.
Built in the early 1900's, the building that is now the Inn on the River was part of Dr. Snyder's Drugless Health Sanitarium. And Dr. Snyder knew how to pamper people. Much has changed over the years but you'll still feel pampered.
This is just our way of saying thank you for helping make Corbell Workshops such a highly acclaimed program.
The weekend is yours. You tell us what you'd like to do and we'll make it happen. But, we're sure to have wine and cheese and the makings for s'mores. I'm sure a guitar or two will be on hand and there will be a lot of laughter and story telling too. Significant others are always welcome and will love to participate in our iPhoneography contest.
Need help with something specific? No worries, we can help you with camera operation, composition, flash, focus, editing, etc., etc., etc. This is your weekend.
Why & Who
This retreat is for anyone who has ever attended a Corbell Workshops or GreatPhotography workshops program. Did you sail with us in the Greek Islands or stand in awe at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. Maybe you drove with us across Vermont in the Fall or stood on the shore of Lake Louise as the sun kissed the top of the glacier. Wherever you joined us, we want to say thank you.
Not only that, but we've been so lucky to have traveled with some of the nicest people on the planet so we wanted to take a moment and share some of that fun with you again.
During one event, we were asked by one of the non-photographer spouses about doing a class for them so they can better understand photography. Here's your chance. During the retreat we'll have a session on iPhoneography - How To Make Even Smartphone Photos Great.
In The Evening
On Friday and Saturday evening we'll relax, throw a few logs on the fire, and maybe even roast a few smores. You've been with us before, you know we'll have a great time.
