The Lifecycle of a Merit Print

SOLD OUT - This special weekend retreat studies the life cycle of a merit print - from capture to final print.

Tony will start our the retreat with a session on planning an image and then photographing the scene with our model.

Rob takes the digital file and will discuss the workflow of the file from capture to archive.  We'll use Adobe Lightroom for the workflow and work on polishing the image with Lightroom's global and localized editing tools.

Mandy will then take the image and show how artistic edits are applied to produce a competition worthy print.  Her edits include textures, color blends, and any other modifications that enhance the image. When she's done you know how this two-time Oklahoma Photographer of the Year consistently produced stunning images.

This is a special event and it deserves a very special location.  What better environment than on the banks of the Paluxy River at the four-star Inn on the River in the Historic District of Glen Rose, Texas.

Get away from the distractions at home or in the studio.  This 22-room Bed & Breakfast is our home for this inspirational weekend that will once again spark your passion for photography.
